2015 Flinton Community Jamboree Website Launched!

The new website for the 2015 Flinton Community Jamboree is online and receiving many views.  This pro-bono site was developed and will be maintained by 45 Degrees Latitude and Ontarioseo.net.  It’s a WordPress premium theme with lots of bells and whistles including homepage player, promos and blog, calendar, sliders, plus the ability to accept Facebook and Twitter feeds.

This site is fully responsive meaning it looks great on a PC or Mac (in all the browsers) and on mobile devices (tablets and smartphones).  This is important for any new website today to ensure the viewer has the best viewing experience whatever device they use.  The site also had SEO (search engine optimization) applied to it and is hosted by 45 Degrees Latitude.

This site is also capable of handling on-line sales of tickets and merchandise.  The Jamboree Committee is not ready for that but if they move in that direction the site will be ready.  Look for frequent blog posts and the addition of videos and mp3 files as the site progresses.

The Flinton Community Jamboree follows the successful 10 year history of the Flinton Bluegrass Jamboree operated by the Flinton Recreation Club.  A new volunteer committee has been formed with profits continuing to help local projects.
